Add a Sautikit Kenyan number to a Grandstream UCM6300 as a Register SIP Trunk: host name with port 5080, username, auth ID, Need Registration, routes.
A Grandstream UCM6300 IP PBX can use a Kenyan Sautikit number as its SIP trunk. In the web GUI, go to Extension/Trunk > VoIP Trunks > Add, choose Register SIP Trunk, and set Host Name = sip.sautikit.com:5080, Transport = UDP, Username and Auth ID = your Sautikit SIP username, Password = your SIP password, and tick Need Registration (it is off by default). Then add an inbound route for the trunk and an outbound route that sends +254 numbers. The number costs KES 500 a month, inbound calls are free and outbound calls cost KES 3.00 a minute billed per second.

Grandstream's docs describe Host Name as an IP address or URL; writing the port after a colon (sip.sautikit.com:5080) is how you point the UCM at a non-default port. Sautikit listens on 5080, not 5060.
Open System Status > Dashboard and check the trunk shows as registered. Behind NAT, set External Host and Local Network under PBX Settings > SIP Settings > NAT.
In Sautikit: open the number and set Forward to the UCM device's extension.
On the UCM: go to Extension/Trunk > Inbound Routes, add a route for the Sautikit trunk, and set the default destination: an extension, ring group, IVR or queue.
Go to Extension/Trunk > Outbound Routes and add a route that uses the Sautikit trunk. Sautikit dials E.164, so for local mobile numbers use pattern _07XXXXXXXX, strip 1 digit and prepend +254. Calls dialled as +254… pass unchanged. Outgoing calls show your Sautikit number as caller ID.
Call your mobile from an extension, then call the Sautikit number from your mobile.
The trunk never registers. Check Need Registration is ticked, the host includes :5080, and transport is UDP.
Registration is rejected. Username, Auth ID and From User should all be the generated Sautikit username. Copy the password again with SIP setup on the device row.
Outbound calls fail. Check the route produces +254… numbers and your Sautikit wallet has credit.
Grandstream desk phones can also register straight to a Sautikit number, with no UCM in between. See Connect a Grandstream phone.
Add a Register SIP Trunk under Extension/Trunk > VoIP Trunks with the provider's host, username, auth ID and password, tick Need Registration, then add inbound and outbound routes.
5080 over UDP at sip.sautikit.com. Enter the host as sip.sautikit.com:5080.
No trunk fee. The number is KES 500 a month, inbound calls are free and outbound calls are KES 3.00 a minute billed per second.
